Sometimes we feel and think that the Lord has abandoned or forgotten us.

 

But we are mistaken remember when he said let us all know that he had not left or departed from us_ his love is persistent.

The Book of Samuel 17 begins to teach about the war between the Israelites and the philistines. From vs. (26) David heard and asked “What will the man get who kill the philistine and set the Israelites free from this disgrace.



The bible made us understand that David was a very strong and courageous man, he was always encouraging himself in the lord. God called him David the man after my heart. Wow!!!

 

We all should learn from ways and experience of David during his reign as king, he had so much faith and love in and for the Lord, he knew what gladdens the heart of the Lord.

 

You see why I said sometimes the Lord gives us space WHY? Here is why, because we don’t consult him before taking any action in everything in life _even though you do_ you do not have patience to hear from him.

 

When David wanted to fight with Goliath he did not rush into the battlefield. First he asked questions and he began to talk_ who dare defy the people of the Lord, he was BI_ talking to the Lord that is in two ways TRY TO UNDERSTAND THIS _He is saying Lord why should this people claim to be superior over your own people your soldiers AND IN THE OTHER WAY_ He is talking out Loudly to the Israelites and the philistines how dare you defy the people of the LORD Hallelujah.

David worked with patience and he listened to the Lord in many ways that day. God used his Father, pick the five stones, focus on the head and rule. If he had not been patient and listened like I said before he would have ridiculed himself but he did not because he listened and he heard. Hallelujah
